"The Wedge is not comparable to any mouthpiece that I have ever played on. In every imaginable perspective it is much better than a conventional mouthpiece. The design of the Wedge enables your muscles to relax and makes lip corner movement more easy and natural. Provided with less lip stress and hence less neck stress, it is so much easier for the body to let out air without using force. Using less force means better sound, better flexibility, better range and better endurance. I really find the design of the Wedge to be the natural match of an embouchure and I would not even consider playing a conventional mouthpiece again, it simply feels like a violation to my lip.

I have played on different Wedge mouthpieces with different rim and cup styles and each of them are fantastic and I could live with each of them forever. However, experiencing a Wedge made me believe that there could exist such a thing as a perfect mouthpiece matc, and Dave's skills and patience while creating this perfect match for me have been those of a wizard! Working with Dave and Liz in general is such a pleasure and their involvement and warmth is really special. Buying a Wedge actually feels like becoming a new member of a wonderful family."
